I agree with you. IMHO the lining is original.

I have a Klaus Josef (kürschner = furrier) in Klosterstr. 4 of Rinteln an der Weser in 1927.

Probably he moved to Bäckerstraße 4 during the following years.

Hi Marcello--
The Ostland is real, but the insignia is fake (and replaced).

It was previously sold on Ebay as Forstschutzkommando.
It had forestry insignia on it (which was real, but incorrect).

It does appear to be a Diplo visor in bad shape:
