                - Peter ERTL - herrenbekleidung - Ludwigstrasse 1, INGOLSTADT

                  Hi all

Just to improve a thread started by Luftsturm (04.25.2008) about a NORDMARK visor, I have recently seen a label showing this full inscription:

FRIEDRICH METHMANN NORDMARK MUTZE FLENSBURG SCHLESWIG NIEBULL.

Probably, a distributor, established in 1864, as METHMANN PELZE, currently still in business in the same town, Liebigstr. 19 and Grossestr. 49 (Altstadt).

                  best regards

How about a William Gunther in a Sonderfuhrer.

                          Hallo Peter

He was surely a distributor of feuerwehr bayonets, jagdmesser, officers' swords and LW daggers.

                          best regards
