Wow, that is bizarre. The cap it was in was a high-end fake SS crusher, but I assumed the lining was at least real--must be a total fantasy: (like those Danfuss Jankes):

In my humble opinion, a beautiful visor. However I don't understand the frontal badges because I see both the signs of a metallic eagle and those of an embroidered one and an eReL vented cockade of which I don't see the connection to the visor
