Rudolf Ruf was a kurschnermeister , Pelzwaren, Hute, Mutzen, Herrenartikel, in Banhofstrasse 37 (at the corner with Futterstrasse), tel. no. 28221 and home in GrossHerzog Friedrichstrasse 35, as from the 1934 adressbuch.

A postcard of Ruf’s shop (extreme right) when Bahnhofstrasse was renamed A.H. strasse (1935) together with the adjacent Marktstrasse (this fact explains the change of the house number also). Obviously the street’s name was immediately denazified at the end of the war:
