Opinions on this M43 please

I believe this to be a high quality repro, definitely doesn't scream "original". The overall package does not appeal to me, but one thing that stands out is the way the insignia is machine sewn to the front.

I was referring to M43 hats in general; and I have never had the pleasure to handle an example with stitching as is shown in "your" outstanding picture. However, I still believe, that the subject hat of this thread would not provide such pleasure if I had the occasion to examine it.

Well Johnny, speaking only of the markings, it is that I would not expect to see that marking in an item that appears to be constructed more along the lines of what I would consider to be a private manufactured piece.

Actually not my picture.It was posted on the forum a long time ago and I just happened to remember it. So my apologies to the owner for not remembering his name, but I have never used it outside the forum. I agree with the comments on the subject hat. WR JIm
