Army Black Beret for Tank Crews

Hi,

i am asking because i am interested in a panzer beret which is for sale on Weitze site:

please look at this beret. i think most of panzer interested poeple know this article.
Iam wondering because this beret is for sale since many month.
Is there anything wrong with it (except the price).
Can anybody say what
"Friedrich Schönberger
Eckenheimerstr. 60
Frankfurt am Main"
means.
I have seen it on 2 other crash berets:

both were converted into winter hats. Perhaps the firm who had done this (that would mean that the beret and the helmet dont belong together).

I would entertain doubts as to that item being what it is advertised to be.

The photos provide no help.

I would look for the spun beret to be clearly made from a circular weave, starting from the tassel and clearly showing the spirals, all the way to the very ends. The more used the beret, the more clearly can be seen the spirals.

I believe I examined this beret at the SOS show last year. All I'll say is that I would not consider adding it to my collection.

Yes, i think this beret was at the show last year.
Do have doubts with the whole crash-beret, only the beret or only the helmet?
Beside:
Next week i expect an email from an historical archiv of Frankfurt, then i will know, who "Friedrich Schönberger" was .
