I have to admit that it doesn't look very good to me either, and I'm no expert when it comes to these.

I appreciate the comments so far but to learn from this could the members who leave posts be more specific and tell me what exactly in there opinion is wrong with the cap.
I forgot to add i purchased this from a dealer in Germany who will remain nameless who claimed it to be a genuine cap.

I am no hat expert. I collect Heer cloth and I do not like the eagle on this hat. I have included a scan of an eagle exactly like it with a good roundle.I will attach some links to the eagle discussions in my next post.

After private comunication with one of the esteemed forum members i would like to thank the members for their comments to date.The reason i placed the hat on here was because i to had some suspicions and over the next few days and weeks i will place a few other items for the opinions of the forum members.
