    Paul Kaps Pioneer crusher

Well, crusher style cap before Daddy Kane puts me right. I was lucky to pick this one up recently and it arrived today. The sellers pics weren't great so it was a bit of risk but I must say, I'm over the moon with it. Superb quality doeskin cover, black velvet, yes, velvet piping and not a moth nip in sight.
The peak stitching has come loose in places but I can soon sort that out. Interesting to note the metal eagle and bullion cockade combination, doesn't seemed to have had any other type of eagle on there.

I didn't notice the Rommel letter at all! We are talking about the same cap right? german ebay? Thanks for the tip though, I'll see if the seller has got anything else that might have belonged with the same group.

                        Beautiful Ben!!!!

This type of cap evokes as much 'mystery' as the m37 crush caps do....

They are jaunty and dressy and makes one think that the owner was quite proud of being in uniform.

A 'hero' or a 'dandy'???? I'll show mine a bit later...same combination of devices and overall appearance!
                        Regards,
                        Dave
