I was hoping this would provide a clue, but I believe that Nuckel is just the s/b maker (and the S/b may even be a replacement):

Well, this just turned up on Craig's auction site, and may give us an answer as to this mystery maker. A1/104 is JC Kornacker of Hannover-Hildesheim. However, this one does not have the pneumatic look and heavy pleating to the lining:

On the flip side, I have never seen a visor with Kornacker in the logo--it wouldn't surprise me that this is the solution to our mystery maker.
