Me again!
This cap is from the well known maker of Robert Lubstein who's trademark was "Erel". The cap is a lage size being a "60". The insignia is slightly loose.

Profile shot. The cap still retains its wire spring, the crushed look comes more from poor storage over the years since WW2 The cap does not sit well on the head due to it's large size

Although it is a little hard to see due to wear, the sweatband is marked with the "Erel" trademark. There is an inked date of "Jan. 1943" marked on the underside of the leather sweatband.
