Hi Guys, here is one of my favourite caps from my collection. It was indirectly Veteran accquired. I knew the Vet who took the cap in 1945 from a German Officer. After he passed away I informed a friend who dealing the Vets estate that I was interested in the cap. However, his widow insisted that everything went into a local auction. I bought the cap for less that I was offering in the first place

Inside of the cap. There are no makers marks, only a white ink stamped size marking "58". The sweatband is marked "Extra".

Buttons. These are actually political buttons as they are RZM maker marked. No doubt what the cap maker had to hand at the time.

Ade,very Impressive cap, not just this one, but your whole collection. All your items showed already have that 'honest' look. You've got a very representative and textbook collection for sure.
