Well it's a real cap, Kim. But if that's foam rubber inside and it appears to always have been there, then it may be an early postwar cap with the badges added. Or it could be a wartime made cap that was used after the war and the owner placed that foam in there for comfort or sizing, and then the badges were restored again later.

So it might be a "might be used postwar" piece like my KM/BM sidecap... hm. Interesting but not my branch of TR. Anyway thank you for you quick response

              best regards,

I'd consider the logo a generic.
Deutsche Wert Arbeit = German Quality Work
Most likely material suppliers would pedal the generic liner with the option to have the makers info printed on the label as well. The big makers would of course have their own labels.
Beste Deutsche Facharbeit = Best German Professional Work

Hello! Sorry for bumping this old thread but I found this label on a SS panzer cap out for sale. I have searched on this thread but not found this version of Deutsche Wertarbeit label. Is it also a known fake or may it be a original type? Grateful for help.

                            link for picture is

Another one of these political visors with the same label/logo (I think this is supposed to be Parteigericht).
