        Another conversion

Here's another conversion of a Dutch field cap remodeled to look German; Even German ventilation grommets were added! The caps is shown with a German modified Dutch (Osttrüppen) tunic to illustrate the exact color match, both being converted pieces in Dutch wool!
Collection of WAF member "Kapitein" and posted on his behalf. Nick

          Dutch markings

Inside liner view showing Dutch depot markings! (1938). Note added lining material used during the transformation to make the cap look German!

                Hello,

I know it's an old topic, but I have also a different variant of the Dutch reissued overseas cap, as you see:

Not in the best condition of all, but I like it very much and not really easy to find.

Actually post number 22 is more likely a Czech conversion rather than Dutch..JMHO Billbert

Well made this gives some more information, I remembered it had a very vage CM marking, which would be conclusive..... (it is in my hands now) but can't see it very well at the moment, thought it was a reworked Officirs hat.

Give a man an opinion and you feed him for a day,
teach a man to use the "search" function on the WAF and you feed him for a lifetime.
