Well, with the esteemed Mr. Coleman's comments, the mystery of "D.V.S."
still continues. Mr. Gottlieb's explanation seemed to make the most sense, as the Luftwaffe did not exist yet (although there was some overlap), and it would seem logical that the DLV had their precursor to the "Verkaufsabteilung der Luftwaffe", ie, the D.V.S. Maybe Mr. Wilkins has found something out during the course of his research on Erel that he is holding out on us for inclusion in his addendum!
