Eduard Kirchberg Weißenfels
Kirchberg had his headquarters in Klosterstraße 11 since 1872 at least.
If we accept this date as the beginning's year of his activity at that address, this visor dates back approximately to 1950.
Best regards

The logo on the label shows the number 78.
This number in the wreath is not always the same and it is printed in the classic form used to indicate the seniority of the company and therefore indirectly the date of foundation and of production of the cap.
Consequently, in this case, assuming that it indicates the years of operation of the firm (78) and that Kirchberg began to operate, as far as I know, as early as 1872 at least, it derives that 78-28 = 50, where the result 50 indicates then the year 1950 of the twentieth century.

They survived the war in the same business and at the same addresses, as evidenced by the 1955 Dortmund adressbuch:

He is a very rare retailer. I personally have never seen a TR-period visor with their logo and this is the first post-war one, at least for me, in an ocean of fakes.
Best regards

The description is simply spectacular : I offer here a visor of the Wehrmacht for auction. The color of the cap has become a little brighter due to the flash. Condition and use can be seen from the pictures. Private sale, no warranty and return policy. Please inquire before shipping abroad. The wig head is not part of the auction.

A postwar Muller disguised as a TR Infanterie Schirmmütze/ Knautsch Mütze aus der letzten Wohnungsauflösung gefunden
https://www.ebay.it/itm/Infanterie-K...53.m1438.l2649
This entails 223 euros over 4 days before the end of the auction
As is known and verifiable, August Muller had two types of logos in the post-war period:
Munchen 2, Dachauerstr. 125 and tel. 55914 and 555914
Munchen 40, Schwindstr. 12 and tel. 526914

and also a mixed Dachauerstr. 125, tel. 526914:

Needless to put here an image of a true TR period Muller for comparison because the logo (Dachauerstr. 123, tel. 56461) is known to all.
