Luftwaffe M43 EM/NCO Feldmützen: real one?

    I recently purchased a Luftwaffe M43 EM/NCO Fieldblue Wool (Feldmützen ).
Would like to get some thoughts on this cap.

All opinions are welcome. Thanks in advance!

I could entertain a doubt from those pictures.

I agree with Mr Singer. There are some construction details that are very 'odd'.

And Glenn, how about the (what appears from the pictures) "contrived" aging on the underside of the bill and the national colors??

Can those buttons even pass through the button holes?

Isn't Franz Richter a metal insignia maker? The name rings a bell..

I agree Bryon, unusual for what appears to be an unissued hat. If the buttons do pass through it would be tight.

It is a good one I have to admit.

If that is a fake, it is the best Luft fake I have ever seen!
I dont recall seeing any maker's mark other than an RB number on a 43 Luft hat but I suppose its possible.
                          IMO --- I can't tell!

I have bought this m40 yesterday in a store in Brussels (, the salesman assures that he is original.
(Sorry but my English is not very good) I can understand:

1.-the buttons must pass through it eyelets

2.-Franz Richter can be a metal insignia maker and other mark than an RB number on a 43 Luft hat its possible or not.

I can post more pictures, if you wants some special .....
