Years ago (1984 or so) I purchased an Army General's cap from Janke with Erel maker's markings, so he did offer them in the past.
The sweatband had the 'Deutsches Leder' impression rather than an Erel marking.

Picked this off e bay in the repro-section for $25.00 Buy it Now. I don't think I'll ever own an original, unless I win the Lotto! I think this is an older made visor, maybe some can tell by the construction. The insignia is a 'cupal' eagle and skull marked RZM M1/17
I believe they are fake as well, in fact I'm sure of it.
It's marked HATRIKA, so I guess Janke made it. Pretty well made for a fake and the price was right, the more people show the reproductions, the more we become aware!
