kreigsmarine cap? what should pay for on??

i was thinking in my collection iv got a heer lufty and even a ss cap(ok its a stripped fez but she is what she is!!) but i dont have a kreismarine cap! how much should i pay for a bog standard nco cap even in a pardon the pun "salty" condition!!!thankf for any help!!happy new year!!

I just paid $300.00 for a very nice KM coastal arty overseas cap. The blue overseas caps are about the same in good condition. Someone else should know the values on the peak caps or the very expensive Donald Duck hats. Martin

Hey PW; yes, NCO's sported visors. Normally run anywhere from $800.00 to $1800.00 depending on make, condition, private purchase or issue. Here is one of mine I got from former (I think) member "Picone".
Collector's Guild has a few examples; well maybe only one left really...

Nice visor! Expect to pay 1300-1800 NCO
2000.00 - 3500.00 for higher rank visors and about 4000.00 for admiral. NCO on the Guild is not good

Paddywack, due to the smaller size of the kreigsmarine, the visors are a little scarce. AS best as you can look for a good one, condition wise that is. I am in the process of trying to procure a nice NCO blue visor, just trying not to have the jacket as well.

I suggest that you be real careful when getting KM visors. I've seen some really nice fakes and post-war German with genuine insignia. For me, it's been tougher determining the orginality of KM visors than Heer and Luftwaffe visors.

NCO on the Guild is not good

I like Peter plenty, but I wouldn't touch the NCO on the far right. As far as the middle one? I would need to know if the interior behind the sweatband is lined with plastic. He's tops in my book but lacks in the KM headgear department.

I have been collecting KM caps for 20 years now and a NCO visor is much much rarer than a officers cap. I have only seen TWO (!) NCO visor in all these years that i 100% believe in. So sell me a named one that is 100% and i will pay 2500 Euros. Cash.
