Artillery EM/Nco trashed

Here's one I found years ago, all crushed up in a foot locker, just never had the heart to get rid of it. The outside looks nice, other than having no chin strap or buttons, but the interior is trashed, no sweat band, paste board smashed, visor re-sewn, it was flat when I got it.

While sad, these pics can serve as a valuable contribution to our knowledge by showing the 'nuts and bolts' of the interior construction of visors and other mutzen. I think some of the displayed damage was done by mice and rats as well as moths.

I love that first crusher.

you are correct ! I never saw the inside guts of any good caps, before I bought this old junker, but you know what, I like it just the same as my minty caps, just for that reason, it shows just what the right materials are like.
