SS Field cap- Observations please.

Following are photos of my SS M-43. The insignia is hand stitched and is not through the liner. The button is secured by a ring similar to a summer uniform attachment. Thanks.

I could entertain doubts. Field made if any possibility IMHO.

The cap itself is obviously not your standard einheitsfeldmutze but neither is this one below.

The insignia look original although some don't like this variation of TK (See recent threads about it and fezes) Like Bryon, I would have doubts about the whole package but I wouldn't condem it either.
