    Cavalry Officer visor-any good?

    Hi Guys,
This Cavalry Officers visor is for sale on Ebay Germany and I was thinking of putting a bid on it as I need one to complete my Cavalry Officers tunic.
As I am a babe in the woods when it comes to knowing what's real and what's not with visor caps these days I was hoping I could get a few opinions on it.
Is it a known maker, is the cap cord good, and does it look okay in general? My thoughts are that it looks very new....

    Cheers,
    Brett

The cap is a modern fake aged to deceive. The cap cord is a post war East German.

The reverse twist. Look how the cord twists from top left to bottom right. That is a post war cord. Period and early post war twist from the bottom left to the top right.

I never noticed that before, I just looked at some of my cords and so it is. You learn something new everyday.
