    a Miracle

My long lost black panzer em's cap has arrived from Canada. It took a mere eight weeks by camel to get here. (It was supposed to be sent airmail, but as the aircraft only comes twice a month, it was sent with the camel).

Glenn, postal issues aside, it is a maginificent cap. I much appretiate you passing it on to me. It is a veteran of the forum, but I will show it anyway. Jacques

Apparently the delay was caused when the first camel was eaten in the Sudan. It should have taken five weeks.

That camel was nationalized in Zimbabwe, Mugabe needed one for official transportation on state visits as Air Zimbabawe is out of fuel.

You mean Glenn didn't deliver it himself in a canoe?

Always enjoy seeing that cap, congrats!

It had a tracking option, but you had to follow the camel sh.t across the Sahara and through the rainforest of Africa, where the barcode got stolen by a pigmy who ate it. Who in turn got eaten by a crocodile. Jacques

He was supposed to be captured by the "crocodile hunter" but he did not make it. The Canadian customs did however scanned a crocodile leather brief case a few days ago owned by tourist back from Uganda. Jacques

This just reminds me of the canadian tourist who asked the souvenir seller in Kenya "why the wallet made of elephant foreskin is $500, while the elephant hide briefcase is only $100". The reply "if you rub the wallet a few times it turns into a suitcase". Jacques

Glad you received it Jacques,I was starting to get worried.

It was sent via airmail with a tracking # (as you know) however for some unknown reason it went by surface mail and was never scanned. That's Canada Post for you You should of had it 6 weeks ago.

Regardless, the main thing is you got it and it was not lost.
