    Luft mohair/rayon visor bands......

Up to the year 1938 Luft visor caps featured 'mohair' type of external bands. Latter on they turned to 'rayon' type bands. Can somebody show a pic or two of the 'rayon' pattern band?

Secondly, does the 'rayon' type band changes in the "weaving" when compared next to the well known 'mohair weaving?

    Any help would be appreciated.

Here is a side by side comparison of the two.
The red piped NCO is 1936 dated. The officers is undated, but mid to late type.
The early 'mohair' example has no shine to the material where as the later one does.
There does also appear to be a slight difference to the way the weave is done.
I don't know if that is something that would be a common difference between all early and late caps. It is between the three early vs three late caps I have.

Mark, thank you for the spot on reply

Are there any more types of 'rayon' weave pattern bands ( other than Mark's example) which are known to be legit?
