M43 (42) cap real barn find

Hello,

this is a cap which believe to be a modified M42 into a M43 (with adding a visor). The cap is in salty condition (as it was found years ago). It has one small damage on the outside near the right wing of the eagle.
It is real for sure and never been played with.
I want to list it on the estand and looking for realistic price range. My guess would be around 180 Euro. For sure real caps are hard to find these days.

It certainly has been there. A modified M42 indeed.

The cap is already on its way to a new home- mine! This hat is exactly the type of item I prefer to collect, a real been-there piece of history. I can't wait to see it in person. Of course I am going to keep it just as it is, uncleaned.
