I like infantry caps, really. This is a very handsome piece in picture book condition, to boot. I wonder what happened to its owner? Viel Sammlerglueck PS Also note how the air conditioning has been obscured by the gestickte Kranz/Kokarde. I have seen this in more than one case, to be sure. The owner chose elegance over comfort, no doubt because of peer pressure (different from Stirndrueck, nicht wahr?) I also note that this cap was perhaps NOT bought through the clothing cooperative of the German army, i.e. there is no Kleiderkasse logo.

This looks like the one for sale on ebay at the moment. item number 6250953263. It is always annoying when these seller's remove the eagle to show on ebay. With 8 days left on this auction it will be interesting to see what it goes for. There is a nicer one on www.theoldbrigade.co.uk this is an ex Gerard Stezleberger erel infantry that is superb, take a look at that one first before going for the ebay one.
