Dear forum members,
I am wondering if there are any wartime M43 Army or SS field caps known, made from (non HBT) non camo cotton. Perhaps an officer’s private purchase? Or field made? They are quite common made as repro for example by Sturm Miltec, but did they actually exist in the war period?
I did not yet find any examples in literature or searching online. Closest what I found was a Bundeswehr? example.
Thank you for your input,
Sincerely,
Seb.
