Here is a nice cap that I acquired from an auction recently.
I know it's a nice cap because the auctioneer said so after the hammer went down.
Seriously though, I was prepared for a bidding war but much to my amazement, no one else did! I swear I will never understand auctions as long as I live.
Rather than waffle on about it, I'll just let the photos do the talking.
You guys already know that these caps don't come along very often.

Cheers Rob, it's getting harder and harder to get lucky at auctions so I was pleased to grab this one.
Plus the auctions fees are now quite ridiculous in my opinion..plus VAT, plus shipping, plus a live bidding fee and god knows what else..

You absolute right, they all are Nuts with there Auctions and what you end up paying then for an Item. I always fall from my Chair when i see the final Invoice. But in your Case it got rewarded.....a real Candy.

Cool cap - but for me it still seems paradoxical, producing a Luftwaffe "mountain-cap".

Those guy's belonged in the air - and not hiking in the mountains!
