This is a salty one and appears to be Verwaltung/Admin...and as so many, an edelweiss was added...Thoughts on it?

IMHO there are two possibilities. Either the edelweiss has been added to masquerade as GJ or he's an admin bloke in a GJ regiment.
I'd say that the former is more likely.

I would find it hard to believe that such a crappy application of the Edelweiss (covering as it does, 1/4 of the eagle) was period done. Somebody tried to tart this one up, probably due to the poor condition to make a few more bucks.

Well I am buying the cap for $345...so not an overly crazy GJ mark up... but it happens a lot...green piping and an edelweiss is added. I have a beautiful Pz Geen visor which got the same treatment but with the eagle repositioned to make space for the edelweiss....a collector embelishment...it came off and on this one it will also come off. Thanks guys!Comment
