Looks salty but good !

The interior, chin strap button and edge of the visor show plenty of use and there is a "layer" of dirt/dust covering the top. The chin strap looks amazingly in excellent condition and the insignia are nice as well. I would want a thorough hands-on examination.

to answer your question its a mold
just while out the chin strap and insignia was all white
I think wool needs to be professionaly clean

I can't get as excited about this one as everyone else it seems. Although it looks good in some ways, it also looks artificially aged and deliberately salty.
Don't like the eagle much either.
Just my opinion.
