If the piping is originally applied it looks like the top is too wide in the M34 style..Not the correct M38 style of an officers cap...Billbert

There were only 2 or 3 caps in that auction that I thought might have a chance of being original. This was one of them.

I think the best thing to do would be to wait until you receive it and then take some photos.

I don't see anything that I don't like, but I would like to see more, like the internal grommets, etc.

There are several details that don't look good as well as the aircraft carrier top billbert noted. Looks IV. Reich to me.

I am also worried about that wide top, on all my 12 examples of officer sidecaps the top is about 9 cm in width at the widest part when stretched out.
Also I do not like the lining material and the grommets very much.
