      Hello Cesare,
      Welcome to the WAF!
As far as you cap goes, I am an RGG/HG collector too, and I would pass. I was discussing these types of caps with George Petersen many years ago, and he said, that he had never seen any period time photographs of them in wear, so he was not interested in them. That pretty well sums up my feelings as well.
      Thank you and best wishes,
      Curtiss

They existed, but wartime photos have not yet been located. I have a white piped example that came out of an attic in Luxembourg over 30 years ago, and its construction (especially the wool piping) is identical to a yellow piped example Petersen has that was featured in Headgear of Hitler's Germany.

I too am a believer in the occasional piped example..saw a white piped m43 cap at an early Max show..looked right as rain..I didn’t ask how much?? It was EIGHTY FIVE DOLLARS..price said it all..
Had ZERO idea what he had or what it was worth.. Billbert

As a certain gentleman in Chicago might say, "I could entertain a doubt." And in this case a LOT of doubt.
