        The book is a (basic guide) that does not detail "die flaws" of recognition in each piece or the "indisputable evidence", necessary today for recent high end fakes.
        It also gives as originals, whitout facts, of some "doubtful" pieces .
        The (basic guide) for beginners IMO.

          Sadly so many of these books reach a certain level but are merely a coffee table book to the more specialist collector. I see unproven assumptions just on the posted pages.

          Personally I am waiting for Chris 'SS Collector' McClurklan's definitive work.

                I got my copy today and found it worthwhile. There is so much information that's it's sometimes confusing to me.
                I need to study it more.

                Chris' position as guru and sense on these items is safe!!
