Hello
What are your thoughts on the OS Cap?
its rough.
The scallop parts of the cap are sewn to the cap
It looks like the lining may have been replaced? ( usually red linings)?
No markings anywhere.

Since this cap is a privately made cap it does not need to have a red lining or markings. It looks like a summer weight cap for an officer- not necessarily "tropical"- and not very well made with stitch lines wandering. Whether it is original or not I cannot determine from these images but it does not appeal to me and I would not want it in my collection.

Private made side cap made in french Brown gabardine , not DAK cotton .
Original and typical of a lower quality making .
