    SS officier buckle opinions ?

    Hello everybody ,

    what do you think of this officer buckle ss olc 36/43?

    is it original?

    It's too corroded for me to be sure, but I strongly feel that it is an original ground recovered buckle.

      By the pics I would say a good one, but I can't comment about hanger originality.

      P.S. possibly a restoration job on sleeve keeping hanger in place ?

        i also think that the buckle was found in the ground and after it was cleaned
        but i am not sure

          Here is another buckle with the "C" around the 36/43
          Both seem to be original
