    SS Buckle

This is a buckle I have in my bundle of cloth SS insignia.
it's well worn and possibly has a replacement fitting.
I have tried to get shots of the stamping which I consider to be right for this buckle,
But what's your view as I would like to sell it ?
    Regards David

Looks like a proper original to me.

The buckle looks good but I believe your right about the fittings. The cut on the prongs look very sharp.

They maybe look sharp but Overhoff had those kind of prongs. The fakes sharp prongs are neither longs, neither curved.

Here is a mint unworn early Overhoff that I still have for sale. To me the above buckle has, so far, the same prongs.

Thanks for posting. The angle of the prongs and quality of the photo make them look like a sharper cut prong.
