Kriegsmarine belt buckle

From what I can tell this is a Kriegsmarine belt buckle.
Is this original or fake ?

Nice B&N buckle, the buckle and the leather tan dates don't match but it is not a rare thing
But why a Krigsmarine buckle? I don't see any KM marking

A nice Heer buckle unless there is a eagle M stamp on the tab. I don’t recall ever seeing a B&N with a KM marking.

Yes, unless there is a KM acceptance stamp, it is just a normal Heer buckle … but a nice one.

Berg & Nolte with KM stamp is known. Here is one, fresh out of the POW camp.
