"bla" stamp (E.G.Leuner, Bautzen) was often found on pouch for G43 rifle.

      Thanks Schlange for the example!

As a binocular-collector, I know most of German binoculars manufactured during mid to late war (1943-1945) were marked with codes by rules. Those codes were used to replace manufacturer's logo & mark, such as: beh - Ernst Leitz, Wetzlar; blc - Carl Zeiss, Jena; bmj - M. Hensoldt & Sohne, Wetzlar; cag - D. Swarovski, Wattens; cxn - Emil Busch, Rathenow...

Maybe such rules were also applied to leather makers.

      Best regards, Yun

Just for the records, the reliable "dealer" who sold this set to Yun is myself. In fact the only piece of my former collection to have been sold to China! I obtained this set in 2002 if I recall correctly, from British veteran estate. As it is showing in this thread is how I obtained it.
