    Hello Albert,

Your buckle appears to have the logo GK&F between a pillar on the left and a ramp on the right? If this is correct, Christian (Wickie) identified my buckle with this logo as being from the firm of GEBRUDER KUGEL & FINK, LUDENSCHEID.

In addition to buckles, they also made cutlery and buttons.

    Regards,
    Gary

Heer M-36. Originally painted feldgrau, this soon wore off because paint does not adhere well to aluminum.

        Thanks!

        Hello Gary,

Yes, that makes sense! I wasn't sure about the last letter, looked like an "A" to me. But the pillar and the ramp are there. So there is no doubt about the maker. Seems to be a rather scarce mm one, I have never seen that maker before?

        Best regards,

        Albert

            Hello Albert,

With the wear your logo shows, I'm having a hard time determining what the last letter is, but here is a photo of what I believe to be the same logo in a different style. Note the stylized pillar and ramp on this. I would guess your buckle and the one I show are one and the same for a scarce maker.

            Nice buckle!

            Regards,
            Gary

              Thanks a lot gentlemen,

Now it's as clear as could only be. It has to be the same maker using two different fonts.

              Best regards,
              Albert

Alberts Buckel shows Gotik-Letter (Fraktur-Schwabacher Letter)
GLM ´s Buckel shows "Normal" letter.
You can not compare 2 different letter. (Äpfel mit Birnen vergleichen-
                compare Apple with pear.)
For me is the last letter of Alberts Buckle an A.
