WW1 Rgt Prinz Georg 108 buckle

Dear experts,
I stumbled across this rare buckle (link below). As the seller has quite a lot of crappy stuff, I hesitate as I am unsure if the buckle is original. There are a few pros and cons for me.....may you judge for yourself:

Don't like that buckle - like most of the other buckles on this site.

Thanks for your judgement Thomas- there are quite a few creepy buckles on the site f.e. the kaiserliche Marine/Schutztruppe ones. Funnily the vendor gave me a guarantee on originality- I think quite often it is not just bad will of the sellers but simply their ignorance in their field of business. The buckle looks strangely aged and scratched (reverse) and the medaillon has something that´s a little strange for me, too- therefore I displayed it for education and clarity.
