    Unmarked SS Buckle i Nickel

    Hi
Is it a Overhooff? I have never seen these unmarked.

Not Overhoff, it appears to be the so-called "cracked wing", as per Jean Pierre Redeuilh, imo, and a nice original early buckle.

Post a straight on photo of the buckle. The angled shot hides details. Has this buckle been painted gold?

You can easily see the pebbling around the swastika, which is a characteristic of this maker. Also, the oakleaves and motto are very unique to this maker, even if we cannot see the front side of the head. Furthermore, the reverse side photo shows the correct reverse side details for this maker, imo.

The buckle looks far more impressive than in the original photos.[emoji106]
