It is a private purchase 4 tab dress buckle so these didn’t come with or need a tab. The tab isn’t made like any regulation tab I have seen. No telling when the tab was made or added to the buckle.

Is this a 40mm Buckle? I don’t recall seeing a 4 tab 40mm.

that's a original privat purchased WH buckle .

These were delivered only without a tab !

Tab looks like from a post war police buckle.
