Pre-WWI German buckle - is it correct?

I was told that this belt buckle isn't original because it shouldn't have a solid sizing roller bar with soldered-on prongs, but instead should have a bar with a seam on it. Does anyone know if this buckle is correct or a reproduction?

Who ever told you that needs to do some research. Brass Imperials mostly have the prongs brazed to the roller bar. A few buckles and a Dancing Dragon buckle from the late 1800’sIMG_1158.jpgIMG_1159.jpgIMG_5163.jpgIMG_5164.jpg

The best belt buckle book is only about $50.

I did not say it is original. It doesn’t have the look of being over a 100 years old. Whoever told him it should not have this type prong bar is wrong. The three hole solder points was used on these buckles. The box with the notch on the side was used on these. The ears seem big for a Imperial buckle. I don’t collect many Imperial so why is it bad?
