Barn find HJ belt with buckle

Fresh out of a barn in saxony. Leave the buckle it as it is or clean it? What do you guys think?

Leave it in untouched condition.
Any cleanig will destroy buckle, and reduce his value.

Leave it as it is. Cleaning isn’t going to improve the buckle.
