Vet acquired SS buckle by Friedrich Keller!

    Hello everyone!

I just wanted to show this nickel SS buckle that I picked up today. It is from the son of a US veteran that brought it back. Maker: Friedrich Keller, (per Jean Pierre Redeuilh).

Sorry, I only have my cell phone for pics right now, but I will post some better photos tonight.

    Thanks!

Great buckle! You should write down the name of the vet, unit he belonged to and any other know history on the buckle. It makes it extra special.
    When you go home
Tell them for us and say
    For your tomorrow
    We gave our today

Here is a shot, showing the strange rolling gap in the metal as I suppose is correct for this maker. Thanks again, guys!

Nice. I sold mine to Ric about two months ago.

Thanks again, JP and everyone for the kind words. It's always a great experience to add another rare piece to our ever-growing collections, especially when it comes from a vet.
I'm sure that most would agree. Happy hunting everyone!
