    CTD Kriegsmarine

Got this gilded C.T.D. 1941 on Sunday. I thought the catch had been replaced but it has just been repaired. It seems this catch was used in 1941. Crank catches were used in 1942 and a wider catch was used in 1943.IMG_0458.jpgIMG_0459.jpg

I will find CTD crank KM someday. I recently got a CTD crank catch Luftwaffe and I have a Aurich Heer crank catch. The KM would complete 2 sets.

I think, HISCOLL has one for sale ... but not necessarily a bargain.

Thanks for the info. It is a nice buckle but 30% above what I would want to pay. Got tied up at work a few years ago and missed bidding on one at eMedals.
Not as nice as the one at Hiscoll. But someone got it for under $300. I will get one sometime.

                  You are absolutely right, Kirby!

One day you will come across to a nice and well priced example.
