I get this one as a fake ( seler say) .Is it fake or maybi ?Any help welcome

Postschutz fake or ?

Looks like an original nickel Postschutz. Someone can probably tell the maker by the small details. The missing prong bar is going to hurt the value. One like this sold at eMedals for $186 +20%. I think you my have gotten a good deal if he thought it was fake.

Agree with Kirby, although missing pin, pin shroud and prong assembly it is an original Haarmann Postschutz buckle.

I echo the comments of Kirby and Dan.
The buckle looks quite unworn, maybe it was never finished.

I was thinking same thing Guido as I see no wear on or around the one pin hole I can see. Buckle is very clean.
