SS Belt Buckle From Local Antique Shop

I saw this for sale today amongst other militaria at a local antique shop. Could I have some opinions as to its authenticity? I appreciate any help.

I like the been there condition. Worth getting if the price is right. This is the most common SS Buckle and I usually see 6-10 of these at the SOS. In this condition $250-300 is what I expect a dealer to ask.
