I do not know, and I can not understand what it turns out to be a fake? .... I have to say if you say you are false .... it is a fake author! impossible to find out for a layman, and certainly has a cost higher than a simple copy but much lower than an original, .... the costs of forgery are there and the counterfeit for his work (aging etc) rightfully you pay well!!

anyway thanks to all you are exceptional ..... I would like to know how to be able to discover an original from a fake, just a question, have you ever been wrong ????

This buckle is cast. Fakes are cast. Originals were stamped.

Agreed, cast fake. Casting flaws are readily visible.

So it used the technique of lost wax?

                  More likely

                  Ric

P.S. gray prongs on your repro are the first give away sign...and fakers made also them by lost wax technique…..with unproper alloy

                    Ok!

                    Thanks Ric

Can you tell me the price of a fake author?
Surely more than a new reproduction I think .... but less than an original ....
                    quite right??

Your repro belongs to first productions made in '90 in East Europe, later fakers improved a lot their dirty job.

                      Cost for fakers 10-20 $ , I guess…..if I did understand your question.
