    Is this buckle OK?

    Hi Bill -

Buckle looks good however, I am not in love with the prongs shown in your photo. From the prongs on both my buckles they are more blunt and do not have the long sharp point. It could be your camera angle that makes them look elongated.

here are the prongs of my RC buckles Ges Gesch 1 & 2 from various positions.

Bill, there are nearly perfect copies of these buckles on the market available.
It would be helpful to have a sharp and detailed image of the markings.

Looks like one of the buckles I saw at Riddick militaria at the SOS. They called them museum quality reproductions and they wanted somewhere around 150-160 bucks for one.

Some features (maker marking, post prongs assembly, ecc.) lead to high end reproductions just mentioned.

Thanks guys for your input. I have been out of buckle collecting for nearly 18 years and sold my collection because of the huge increase in fakes. I should have known better especially since the price was really low.
In any event that’s it for me on buckles. Never again.

My best to everyone that contributed to show my idiocy

              Bill

In addition to the prongs, the ges gesch stamp is suspect. You can see how much rough it is than the original posted above.
