    silver luftwaffe buckle

    Hello everyone
    I am offered this luftwaffe buckle painted silver. I have never met this model, can you tell me more please?

    The buckle is a Heinrich Arld but I doubt the silver paint is period. A lot of these have a green tropical finish.IMG_5286.jpgIMG_5287.jpg

      The silver paint certainly looks period to me, especially on the front. It even appears to have legitimate age.

        I thought web tab for LW were only blue. Regarding this one I should be wrong?

          All web tabbed Luftwaffe are rare. The white tabbed GB with silver paint is the rarest followed by the blue buckle with the blue web tab. The green tab with green paint aren’t as rare.

              Do you have an example you can post? I don’t remember ever seeing a Sand colored Luftwaffe with a matching tab. My friend Garry has this Heer with what you might call a sand colored tab.IMG_9598.jpg

                Kirby, have just the two attached images here at the moment. You can see there unfortunately only a small corner of the tan/ sand-colored web tab. I will shoot better images if I have the opportunity.
